Brian Hau is a multi-disciplinary artist with a career spanning from graphic design, songwriting and literature, and he can’t pick his favourite, because every part seems like a body part to his heart.

Brian Hau was an introvert in high school, strumming the guitar and transferring these lonely feelings into songs, that's when he started composing. But in University, he blossomed into a much more social-friendly individual. Perhaps he really enjoyed the time when he was undertaking the Bachelor of Design program, which allowed him to expand his creativity, Brian's type of heaven. He eventually graduated with a number of awards and scholarships in his pocket.

After graduation, he returned from Edmonton (Canada) to Hong Kong, where his family was and where he was born. He first got a job as a graphic designer at a prestigious firm in Central and he would later open his own company, HB Pencil Creative Studio with the increasing amount of freelance design projects. Accounts of which Brian has designed for included SONY, Hong Kong Gold Coast, Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre, MaBelle, Credit Suisse, just to name a few.

Besides becoming an expert in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Brian also performed in various venues as a musician. Sometimes solo or with his band, the highlight would definitely be a show-out two-and-a-half-hour concert at Fringe Club, which he used one entire year to prepare together with the band. He released two albums along the way, "Definition" of 2006 and "I'm Fat But I'm Happy" of 2008. With these albums like trophies, Brian was interviewed by TV, radio, magazines and newspapers.

In 2010, Brian started to write a newspaper column for Mingpao. He would post it onto Facebook and watch how many "likes" he receives in a day. Yes. Brian Hau is a Facebook junkie.
